Adaptive's Weekly Roundup #7
Friday, March 25, 2011
The week began with Twitter's 5th birthday. The social media site put together a video featuring celebrities across a variety of industries talking about what they love about Twitter. The short, promotional/celebratory film really hit the benefits of this tool on the head, and was quite entertaining. Adaptive especially liked Snoop Dogg's bit. View it here.
Adaptive's recommended read of the week is Unleashing the Power of Networked Learning, - the second part of The Harvard Business Review's 3 week series on the Innovations in Education.
Econsultancy, one of Adaptive's most trusted digital news sources, came out with a great piece on The Multichannel Challenge for Retailers. This is a must read for all retailers delving into the world of online sales and marketing.
Matt Owen, a writer for Econsultancy published a very informative piece on making your company blog a content king. What made this article so great was that in addition to outlining the benefits of having a company blog, Owen also listed tons of fabulous ideas for posts. The underlying message: That blogs don't have to be all business. They are a great outlet from which to humanise your organization and have a bit of fun with your content.
That's all for this week folks- tune in for more tips and suggested reading next week! Happy weekends.
