For years the film, music, and literary industries (to name a few) focused their attention on a small segment of the talent that made up their business. Why? Because it costs money to promote and sell products. This morning, when I got into the office, a colleague drew my attention to the Engadget article reporting on the 100 million Facebook pages that had been leaked. Turns out a hacker created a crawler to troll the social media site’s Open Access directory for phone numbers, emails, and URL’s.
