Situation Appraisal

Scott's Visas is a company specialising in visas for business and personal travel. They were generating increasing traffic on their website but visitor engagement was poor.

Implementation

The administration of the business is driven by an internal database and Scott's wanted to integrate key elements of this database on to their newly designed website. To achieve this successfully we implemented changes to their content management system, improving the structure of the database and giving stronger security. We incorporated more visible contact information on the home page to give visitors confidence about using Scott's Visas. This included Google map links to show office location. We also upgraded the code and ensured the site was W3C compliant.

Results

The home page re-design reassured visitors that Scott's is a business with experience and credibility. The user experience was much enhanced, with dropdowns prominently displayed and a strong call to action button.
